Volunteer Role Opening: Weekend RoundUp Writer

Weekend RoundUp Writers are responsible for researching fun events for families in and around Amsterdam and compiling them in our popular Weekend RoundUp newsletter which goes out to around 6,000 subscribers.

What you’ll be doing:

• Researching and compiling a list of weekend events
• Writing an introduction for the newsletter
• Fixing and applying formatting according to guidelines
• Scheduling the newsletter to be sent out in ConvertKit

What you’ll need to apply:

• Good command of the English language
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ideally experience with ConvertKit
• Ideally experience with Google Workspace
• Be proactive and able to work as part of a team
• Able to work legally in the Netherlands
• Membership of one of our Facebook groups

Hours/Place of work:

This is a flexible, home based role for around two to three hours per week once or twice a month. There is an opportunity to attend Team Meetings (online and in-person).

Volunteering with us gives you the opportunity to gain work experience, expand your network in Amsterdam and contribute to the Amsterdam Mamas community.
We will provide training as needed and we can provide a reference after six months.
Amsterdam Mamas holds social events for volunteers including an annual dinner or afternoon tea.
