Events happening this weekend New family friendly escape rooms in Amsterdam – Escapehood Escapehood consists of two, themed escape rooms full of humour, adventure, and imagination. No stressful race against the clock, but an accessible story that you experience together. Click here for details. Kinderpret – by OCCII kinderpret crew From puppet shows to workshops for toddlers to sixth graders… every Wednesday there’s something new to experience at OCCII! Check out their fun workshops, ranging from dance, percussion, theatre, circus, visual arts, and music. Be sure to book early, as space is limited. Lego Printing workshop – at Wereldmuseum Amsterdam Visit the Wereldmuseum Amsterdam and participate in the LEGO® printing workshop. Inspired by the work of Ekow Nimako, an artist who created a landscape of the future using over a million black LEGO® bricks, you’ll create your own print of the future! Suitable for kids aged 6 and above, this workshop takes place every weekend. Programme details here. Ongoing & upcoming events Joris and the Dragon – an exciting musical at the Efteling (6+) Efteling tells us… Joris and the Dragon is an exciting and funny musical, with brand-new songs and a real dragon! Come see, because Joris could really use your help. Ages: 6+ Frisse Oren – Wiegeling concert (6-18 months) In a soft, welcoming environment, a singer, a clarinetist, and an oud player engage in musical encounters with the young audience and with each other. Performers and audience are united in the backdrop of moving abstract shapes, colourful light sources, and elements that create wondrous sounds.
