National Tulip Day 2026

On Saturday, 17 January, Amsterdam will celebrate the Tulip Festival once again. The event is free and open to everyone. There is a tulip picking garden for visitors to gather their own bunch on Museumplein for a maximum of 10 stems. Gates open 13:00 to 17:00. But better come early, and I mean really, really early, as the queue to enter can be very long.

Gammel at De Krakeling

Experience Gammel, a magical puppet theatre show about a grumpy old man whose life changes when a mysterious child appears at his door. This heartwarming performance reminds us that every day matters and everyone needs to feel needed. With enchanting puppetry, masks, and live music.
