In this issue we have curated events to include kids, teens and their amazing parents as well. With some sun and rain, spring has already arrived, promising longer days and more opportunities to enjoy the colourful outdoors. Find below some activities we think you might enjoy this weekend. Events happening this weekend Easter with Amsterdam Mamas & WOW Amsterdam Mamas will once again host an Easter event with WOW! Check below for details and mark your calendars – 4th April 2026! Location: Churchillaan 86 (WOW Rivierenbuurt) Two workshop sessions: • 10:00 – 11:30 • 12:00 – 13:30 The workshop will include an arts & crafts activity, followed by a short music and movement session in the gym. The remaining time will be for free play, and families can also enjoy coffee or tea. Register here. Butterfly Garden at Black Cat Theatre Black Cat Theatre is the perfect place for children to witness the world of theatre and creativity. Butterfly Garden is a show where children can dive into the wonderful world of butterflies – a world that is colourful, mobile and mysterious. View the show times & plan your visit soon. Arts Festival for little & very little ones – 2turvenhoog The high-quality performing arts provide beautiful – often first – theatre experiences for young children with their adult companions. These are wonderful moments between parents, grandparents, siblings, and/or other adult guardians. Get your tickets here. Easter Parade at Gelderlandplein A colourful spring parade with dancing flower girls, bees, bunnies, and other characters, including a life-sized Easter bunny. Super fun and cheerful! So get into the spring spirit and shop at Gelderlandplein on the 28th. The spring parade lasts 45 minutes and takes place four times between 12:00 and 16:30. Details on the website here. Ongoing & Upcoming Events Wednesday boat tours with Fluistervink at Amsterdam Bos Step aboard the Fluistervink and let yourself be carried along winding waterways while you admire the forest from a whole new perspective. Along the way, you are surrounded by the beautiful symphony of birdsong and frolicking waterfowl, and you might catch a glimpse of other forest animals seeking refuge along the banks. The experienced skipper ensures you don’t miss a thing and tells you all about the forest and its history. Click here for details. Parents Corner Amsterdam Wine Festival | Kromhouthal Discover your favourite wine country, enjoy delicious dishes, and test your wine knowledge during one of the wine quizzes. Travel to sun-kissed vistas this weekend (in spirit only) as the Kromhouthal plays host to this celebration of the Southern Hemisphere’s finest grape-based produce. 26 -29 March | Click here for details.
