ADE Kids Rave – Morning Event

This year’s Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) is hosting a dedicated party for kids across three floors inside Club Panama in Amsterdam Oost. Parents, kids, and teens are welcome—the goal is to connect generations through electronic music. Experience a unique morning rave with your children at one of the world’s biggest music festivals, and still make it back home for bedtime.

Pure Markt at Park Frankendael

For artisanal finds on a Sunday afternoon, everyone knows Pure Markt is the place to be. This Sunday at Park Frankendael, browse food stalls from around the globe, organic treats, handcrafted goods, and live music, with plenty of green open space for children to run and play.

The Maker Market at De Hallen

If you live in Amsterdam, you have likely walked past Dam Square countless times. But have you been inside the Royal Palace? It is one of the most significant historic monuments in the Netherlands. While you can tour the palace on most days, October is extra special thanks to Drawing Month. Pick up a free drawing guide and spend an afternoon immersing yourself in the surrounding art with paper and pencil. If you visit on a weekend, drawing coaches will be on hand to assist creators of all ages.

Mad Scientist for Halloween at Hemlab

For an alternative Halloween experience, take a short drive to Zaandam, where Hemlab Science Laboratory offers a quirky option. Kids aged 7 and up can pop on lab coats for an afternoon of candy experimentation. It’s a fantastic standalone activity or a fun parent-child bonding experience—after all, who wouldn’t love mixing their own witch’s brew? The workshop finishes at 17:00, actually still leaving plenty of time for evening trick-or-treating.

Children’s Museum (KiMu)

Having opened just this year in Amsterdam-Noord, the Kinderkunstmuseum (KiMu Children’s Art Museum) offers engaging art exhibitions and hands-on creative experiences. Children aged 0–18 will find something to inspire them across various interactive stations and studio experiences. A unique, modern take on a museum, it is well worth a visit. Be sure to check their schedule before heading out, as they are open Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Imagine Film Festival

Here’s one for you and your teens or older children. Running from 27 October to 8 November (with an opening programme on the 25th), Imagine presents a fantastic selection of international cinema. Amsterdam is sinking, and it’s up to you to save it! Dance with headphones on during Children’s Book Week in the workshop space of De Kinderboekwinkel. A fun and interactive experience where kids can enjoy music and movement while wearing wireless headphones, all in a safe and supervised environment.

​

At this historic riding school and museum built in 1882, kids can observe horse-riding classes and performances in traditional costumes, pet horses, explore ornate stables and riding arenas, and enjoy tea at the beautiful café. Active pumpkin and vegetable farm in West Friesland where families can browse and buy from a harvest of hand-washed, size-sorted pumpkins (edible, ornamental, and carving varieties) and squashes in September and October. During the KIDS Festival, there is also time for action and dance.

Events Happening This Weekend

Wetenschapsdag Amsterdam Science Park

For curious kids (and equally curious parents), Amsterdam Science Park opens its normally behind-the-scenes laboratories on Saturday, 3 October. Families can experiment with static electricity, X-ray scanners and holograms, play retro games and meet scientists working on everything from microscopic materials to enormous particle detectors. The programme runs from 12:00 to 17:00 and all activities are free—science apparently does come without a price tag sometimes. More information can be found on the Amsterdam Science Park event page​.

Muziekfestival 2026 – Music, Dance & Theatre Day

On Sunday, 4 October, children aged 4 to 13 can spend the morning singing, dancing, making music and trying their hand at theatre in Amsterdam Slotervaart. Organised with Muziekschool Aslan, the festival includes a mix of creative workshops, games and crafts, followed by a final performance for parents and family at 14:00. A full morning of making noise, but this time it’s officially encouraged. Registration and details are available on the Muziekfestival 2026 website.

OERRR Herfstpret at Fort bij Spijkerboor

Just outside Amsterdam, Fort bij Spijkerboor hosts a special autumn family day on Sunday, 4 October. Children aged around 6 to 12 can explore the historic fort, hunt for hidden bats and other winter residents, get creative and hear stories about the animals settling into the fort for the colder months. It combines nature, crafts and an old fortress—which is already a fairly strong starting point. Plan your visit via Natuurmonumenten – OERRR Herfstpret.

SoWhat Family Concert: Snip, Ritsel en Plop

On Sunday morning, 4 October, Het Zonnehuis in Amsterdam Noord hosts Snip, Ritsel en Plop, a playful family concert exploring the many sounds hidden inside jazz. Instead of sitting quietly, children are invited to listen, sing, clap and move along as the musicians experiment with everything from gentle rustles to plop, krak and boem. In other words, one of the rare concerts where making a little noise is part of the plan. Tickets and event information can be found through Het Zonnehuis.

Yayoi Kusama Autumn Programme at the Stedelijk

From 10–18 October, the Stedelijk Museum is putting on a special autumn holiday programme for families inspired by the wonderfully colourful world of Yayoi Kusama. Alongside exploring her famous dots and immersive artworks, children can join special creative activities and workshops around the museum. Admission to the Stedelijk is free for everyone under 18, making this a particularly easy one to add to a day around Museumplein. See what’s planned here.

TCS Amsterdam Marathon Kids Run

The Amsterdam Marathon isn’t only for people willing to run 42 kilometres. On Saturday, 17 October, children aged 4 to 12 can take part in their own Kids Run at the Olympic Stadium, with distances adapted for different ages. Afterwards, the Kids Arena keeps things going with face painting, a magician, music and food stalls—plus, importantly, a medal at the finish. Find more information here.

Nationale KinderTheaterWeek

From 10–18 October, several Amsterdam theatres hand over a little more of the building than usual to their youngest visitors for Nationale KinderTheaterWeek. Children aged 2 to 12 can catch family performances as well as explore workshops, treasure hunts, backstage tours and other special activities. Amsterdam venues include De Krakeling, De Brakke Grond and Stadsschouwburg Amsterdam, so there is plenty to choose from across the week. Family Rave Day – ADE Special

Amsterdam Dance Event gets a family edition on Wednesday, 21 October, when Fabrique des Lumières hosts an afternoon rave designed for children aged 5+ and their grown-ups. Expect DJs, live musicians, dancing, balloon drops and plenty of immersive projections, with the sound levels adjusted for younger ears. Thuishaven w/ IOSIO – 10HRS

Sunday, 4 October calls for a daytime dance session at Thuishaven, with IOSIO taking over for a full 10-hour run from 13:00. It’s an early-starting alternative to the usual Amsterdam night out, with plenty of time to dance without waiting until midnight for things to get going. SYNTHONY No. 2 at AFAS Live

On Friday, 2 October, SYNTHONY takes over AFAS Live with a mix of live orchestra, DJs and vocalists reworking some of the biggest electronic dance tracks from the past 30 years. Expect music from the worlds of Avicii, Swedish House Mafia, Calvin Harris and David Guetta, but with rather more strings than your average club night. De Kleine Krakeling Family Theatre: Storytelling & Puppet Stages

Running this Saturday and Sunday afternoon at Theater De Krakeling (near Westerpark), this venue hosts special interactive autumn plays and visual puppet performances for children aged 3 to 10. It is a cozy indoor theatrical outing featuring lively stage props, physical comedy, and light audience participation to keep young minds thoroughly entertained. Tickets are approximately €11 per child (€14 for adults) and can be reserved directly online at Theater De Krakeling.

Leather Bag Making Workshop

This weekend, get creative and hands-on by making your own leather bags. Learn the basics of leatherworking—cutting, stitching, and assembling—all in a step-by-step guided workshop that will result in your very own leather bag design. Harvest Festival

What stands out quickly about living in Amsterdam is the diversity of cultures and traditions present. Not everyone practices the same religious or cultural celebrations, but the Wereldmuseum gives children the opportunity to experience and get to know a worldwide variety of celebrations. Whether it’s time for Christmas, Eid, Día de Muertos, Sundays at the Wereldmuseum Feestwinkel means it’s party time! For this weekend, 27 September will be celebrated with a Harvest Festival theme as observed in many parts of the world including Chinese Moon Festival, American Thanksgiving, German Erntedankfest, Jewish Sukkot, and Argentine Fiesta de la Vendimia.

Junior Stop-Motion Animation Lab

Taking place this Saturday afternoon at IJpromenade 1 (Amsterdam Noord), Eye Filmmuseum hosts an interactive digital filmmaking workshop for pre-teens and young teens aged 8 to 14. Guided by media educators, kids construct miniature sets, design clay characters, and edit short digital stop-motion films inside the museum studio. Tickets are €15 per youth participant and can be reserved directly on the Eye Filmmuseum website.

Asian-Filipino Culture Celebration

The international Filipino community is celebrating because, for the first time, their heritage and culture will be featured in an international film. On 10 October, everyone is invited to experience Filipino food, culture, and community through a private screening of Forgotten Island at FC Hyena in Amsterdam Noord. But before the movie starts, games and other surprises will be prepared—Filipino-styled and more! Other Asian makers will also be participating in the market, making it one fun Saturday spectacle for a rich, cultural, and colorful experience. Cinekid Festival 2026

The world’s largest media and film festival for children returns this autumn during the school holiday (10 – 25 October), with Pathé Amsterdam Noord serving as its main hub. Beyond international film premieres and kleuter workshops, kids aged 3 to 14 can explore the massive MediaLab—an interactive playground featuring virtual reality games, digital art installations, and futuristic media workshops. Because holiday time slots and MediaLab passes sell out fast, parents are encouraged to browse schedules and pre-book tickets online via Cinekid Festival.

Almond Blossom Painting Studio Workshop @ Van Gogh Museum

Running on select weekend afternoons throughout late September and October (1:30 PM – 3:30 PM) at Museumplein, this studio programme lets children aged 6 to 12 step into the shoes of a master painter. Guided by museum art educators, participants explore Van Gogh’s original masterpiece inside the museum before painting their own canvas using acrylics in the private studio space. Tickets are €15 per child (includes all materials and museum entry), and advance booking via the Van Gogh Museum is required as class sizes are strictly capped.

Art Camp for the Autumn Holidays

In October, schools will have a one-week break for the Herfstvakantie. If you are looking for a week-long activity that would keep your kids active, engaged, and creative, Amsterdam Museum is offering a free art camp for kids aged 9 – 12 years old. Friday Evening “Wine & Clay” Pottery Session @ Studio Keramiek

Designed as an adult getaway to de-stress after a busy week, Studio Keramiek hosts relaxing Friday evening pottery sessions (19:30–21:30) in central Amsterdam. Parents can learn wheel-throwing and hand-building clay techniques with a glass of wine in hand while listening to smooth music in a cozy indoor studio. Tickets cost €38 per person (which includes all clay materials, firing, and drinks), and pre-booking is required via Studio Keramiek Amsterdam.

Yayoi Kusama Exhibit

The works of Yayoi Kusama, one of the most celebrated artists of contemporary art, are displayed at the Stedelijk Museum for a limited time. Make sure to visit the museum to see her innovative, sometimes controversial, style up close through paintings, drawings, sculptures, and installations. Tickets are available online. Het Kleine Grote Festival

​

On Sunday 20 September, QRU under the track in Amsterdam-Oost will turn into a cozy place where music, play and creativity come together. During the Het Kleine Grote Festival (Little Big Festival), children and parents can experience a relaxing day together, without busy attractions or long queues.

The festival is especially suitable for families with children aged about 2 to 10, but everyone is welcome. You can stay all day or just drop by to join in.

​Jeuk in de Jordaan Flea circus at Villa Kakophonie

​

Visit this unique theatre performance in the newest smallest theatre in the heart of Jordaan, Villa Kakophonie!

When French circus artists Maya Lanski and Nina Nynski go in search of their family history in the Jordaan, they come across special stories from the past and Bertolotto’s flea circus! They don’t hesitate for a moment; they are going to breathe new life into the flea circus. Together with a colourful group of flea artists, they show their most impressive tricks and tell stories about the Jordaan’s past.

World Cleanup Day​
​

Sunday 20 September is World Cleanup Day. On this day, local residents clean up litter in their neighbourhood together. Amsterdam is also participating again this year!

You can take part in actions in your area, or organize an action yourself. You can also borrow waste grabbers and a waste ring from the municipality.

Puppet show at Elsenhoeve

​

At Speelboerderij Elsenhove you will find all kinds of farm animals, a large adventurous natural playground and the opportunity to learn a lot about nature, environment and sustainability.Fun for children and adults!

Activities are organised in the period from March to November, mostly on Sundays. This week there will be a puppet show on Sunday afternoon.

Harvest Festival – Wereldmuseum

​

Harvest festivals are celebrated worldwide. Such as the Chinese Moon Festival, the American Thanksgiving, the German Erntedankfest, the Jewish Sukot and the Argentine Fiesta de la Vendimia. These festivals celebrate the grain harvest, wine harvest and other harvests. They mark the end of the harvest period and are celebrated with meals, parades, dance and symbols representing the harvest and the cycle of life, such as bread, fruit and lights. In the museum you will get to work on making a fruit garland. During Soekot, people build a shed that they decorate with homemade garlands, such as a fruit garland.

​

There is lots to discover during the Science Weekend at NEMO. Build a spinning top or a chain reaction, participate in scientific research, or compose your own music.

Ambacht in Beeld Festival – 26 & 27 September

​

The NDSM Loods is transformed into a large public workshop where artisans give workshops and masterclasses throughout the day. In addition, there are lectures, films and demonstrations and there is a catering square with vegan food and drinks. Various vocational training courses and museums also present themselves and there is a materials fair with wool, paper, artist supplies and special wood, among other things.

Children can also join in during the Ambacht in Beeld Festival. The programme full of workshops can be found on the website. An inspiring event for young and old!

Tapt Festival Amsterdam West – 18-19 September, Rembrandtpark

​

TAPT returns to the sprawling greenery of Rembrandtpark. What began over a decade ago as a specialty beer festival in one city has now grown into one of the major drinks festivals in the Netherlands. While it now serves much more than just beer, it still remains very much the focus and pull, featuring breweries like Gebrouwen door Vrouwen and Ultje and newer microbrewers like Queer Beer and Moon Lark. Expect two days of drinking and dancing right before the harvest season hits.

Once again it’s the time of the year where you can enjoy hand-picked apples directly from the orchards. Olmenhorst is a great option to enjoy the process. September may have us reaching for sunglasses, raincoats and jumpers all in the same afternoon, but luckily Amsterdam has plenty to keep the whole family entertained whatever the weather decides to do. Open Huis X TF at Meervaart

On Saturday 12 September, Meervaart opens its doors for an afternoon full of creativity and family fun. From 12:00 to 17:00, children can try their hand at dancing, acting, music and more during free trial lessons and creative workshops.

There is plenty for different ages, including toddler activities for ages 2–3, dance and theatre sessions for older children, backstage tours and activities in the foyer. Families can also catch performances of Sam & Julia for ages 3–7 and Dag Poes for ages 4–8. Entry to the Open Huis activities and trial lessons is free, while tickets are required for the performances.

Waterdierenexcursie (Water creatures excursion) at Amsterdamse Bos

Grab a net and discover what is hiding in and around the water at the Amsterdamse Bos! On Sunday 13 September, children can join a forest ranger on a special excursion in search of some of the Bos’s smallest and most fascinating inhabitants.

Using small fishing nets, curious young nature lovers will explore the water and learn more about the creatures that call it home. The excursion runs from 14:00 to 15:30, starting at De Boswinkel.

Groove Beest Family Concert: The Soul of Gospel

Get ready to clap, stamp, sing and dance! On Sunday 13 September, ZO! Gospel Choir transforms BIMHUIS into one big musical playground with Groove Beest: The Soul of Gospel, an interactive family concert full of energy and rhythm.

During the gospel jam, everyone gets to join in. Families will learn new moves, make music with their hands and feet and discover why some music simply makes it impossible to sit still. The concert runs from 13:30 to 14:30 with reduced-price tickets also available.

And for families who want to keep the groove going, a SoundLAB Groove special takes place afterwards at Muziekgebouw from 15:00 to 16:30.

Walk-In Workshop at The Mouse Mansion

Calling all little Sam & Julia fans! The Mouse Mansion invites families to get creative in its workshop space, where children can decorate their very own miniature creation inspired by the wonderful world of the famous mice.

Choose from projects including a furniture set, Little Mouse Door or Bedroom To Go suitcase, then add your own colours, patterns and imaginative touches. Once the masterpiece is finished, children can take their creation home. The workshop is designed as a walk-in activity, so it is an easy addition to a family day in Amsterdam.

Speelatelier – SYNESTHEET Family Weekend

Little artists can explore the world through their senses at the Speelatelier (Play Workshop) on Saturday 19 September. Designed for children aged 2–5 and their parents or carers, this playful session is all about discovering art through touch, sound, movement and experimentation.

Together with artists, children can investigate different materials, sounds and spaces, letting their imagination and curiosity lead the way. The workshop takes place from 10:30 to 11:30 at Synestheet in Amsterdam-Zuidoost and is free to attend.

Kinderfestival Wajo! Wetenschap?!

Calling all curious young minds! On Sunday 4 October, the beautiful 17th-century Trippenhuis turns into a playground for science during the free Wajo! Wetenschap?! children’s science festival, especially for children aged 8–14.

Fold your own microscope and discover a hidden world, build an electric motor, test your knowledge of Dutch youth slang or go on a mysterious fungi hunt in the cellars. With experiments and interactive activities throughout the building, there is plenty to keep budding scientists busy. The festival runs from 12:00 to 17:00 and admission is free.

The Art Café Workshops – Amsterdam Museum

Time to roll up those sleeves and get creative! To celebrate its 100th anniversary, Amsterdam Museum is hosting a series of Art Café workshops at Amsterdam in Motion, with sessions taking place on several Saturdays throughout September and October.

Each workshop takes inspiration from the museum’s collection and stories before inviting visitors to have a go themselves. Make Amsterdam canal houses from clay or experiment with linocut printing while discovering new techniques along the way. No previous artistic talent is required – masterpieces and enthusiastic experiments are equally welcome!

Cinekid Festival 2026

Lights, camera, family day out! Cinekid Festival returns to Amsterdam from 10 to 16 October, bringing six days of film, media and plenty of opportunities to get creative at Pathé Amsterdam Noord.

Alongside the latest films and series from around the world, families can peek behind the scenes of filmmaking and explore the Cinekid MediaLab, packed with games, VR and AR experiences. There are also special events that turn a trip to the cinema into a whole adventure, so families can put together their own festival day depending on what catches their eye.

Opening Night in Oosterpark – Concertgebouw Orchestra

Classical music under the stars? Yes, please! On Friday 11 September, the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra celebrates the start of its new season with a free open-air concert in Amsterdam’s Oosterpark.

Conducted by Han-Na Chang, the orchestra will perform classical favourites including music by Rossini, Bizet, Wagner and Glinka. Come early for the opening programme featuring young musicians from 18:45, grab something tasty from one of the food trucks and find a spot on the grass. The main concert starts at 20:15 and admission is completely free – no ticket required.

Dutch Theatre Festival

​

Admire the most beautiful theatre performances of the 25/26 season at the Dutch Theatre Festival, specially selected by 7 professional juries in the Netherlands and Flanders. Theatre, cabaret, youth theater, mime, performance, new creators and more!

From 3 to 13 September, you can visit 12 different theatres in Amsterdam. There are performances on the programme for both younger and older kids.

Forts and Fortress Festival

​

From 5 to 13 September 2026, fortresses and water line defences will be buzzing with activities during the Fortress and Fortress Festival.

Enjoy live music with a centuries-old fortress as a backdrop. Go on a tour, see art, visit an interactive museum or step into an Atlantic Wall bunker. Listen to special stories during a city walk, sail through a fortress moat and enjoy a snack and a drink on an atmospheric fortress terrace. There is a lot to experience for young and old.

Also visit the Open Monuments Weekend on September 12 and 13, as many fortresses will be opening their doors for free. A large part of the activities take place in the UNESCO World Heritage Dutch Water Defence Lines. Plan your visit and experience a weekend full of history, culture and music.

Mini Dam tot Damloop in Amsterdam-Noord and Zaandam

​

For all the enthusiastic little marathon lovers there is a chance to run during the Mini Dam tot Damloop, especially for children aged 4 to 12. Start on Saturday 19 (Zaandam) or Sunday 20 September (Amsterdam-Noord) and participate in the short or longer distance. More than 3,500 children are expected to start in Zaandam. In Amsterdam-Noord in the Molenwijkpark, a Mini Dam tot Damloop is held for about 1,000 children.

​Concertgebouw OPEN – enjoy mini concerts for FREE!

​

Concertgebouw OPEN is free and happening again this year – on Saturday 5 September! You do have to reserve a free ticket with the time you want to enter. After that, you can stay as long as you want! Concertgebouw OPEN is especially fun for visitors aged 6 and over.

This year you can also wander through The Concertgebouw. There are mini concerts, audio tours, family concerts, guided tours, a scavenger hunt and a body percussion workshop. You can meet our composer in residence, take a selfie in the photo booth, or win concert credit at the Wheel of Fortune. And there is a lot more, all during Concertgebouw OPEN.

‘Classic on the Amstelveld’ Open Air Festival

​

“Klassiek op het Amstelveld” is a freely accessible open-air festival on 18 and 19 September, organized by the KOHA foundation, which offers a stage for young classical talent and the stars of the future.

The festival offers a wide variety of concerts, children’s activities, performances and workshops for young and old. Experience a musical weekend right in the centre of Amsterdam! At the stage there are picnic benches where you can relax with the kids.

Baking bread at Speelboerderij Elsenhove

In the new exhibition Game On, NEMO Science Museum shows that games open the door to new worlds and possibilities. From designing your own character to racing with players worldwide. In Game On you will discover how games help shape our lives and what role they play in science, art and social connection. Synergy Playground – Kite-Making Workshop at NDSM

On Saturday 12 September, Synergy Playground will be dominated by Sona Circoloco. Children aged 8 to 14 can participate in a free kite-making workshop together with their parents or guardians. With the help of local artists, you can design and build your own kite. Give it a cheerful colour, a special shape or a personal story and make it something completely your own.

All materials are present and the artists will help you on your way. During the morning there is music and snacks and drinks. Of course there is also plenty of room for the homemade kites to take to the air together afterwards!

Events Happening This Weekend

Prinsengrachtconcert

An iconic annual highlight enjoyed by all ages, the Prinsengrachtconcert returns this Saturday 22 August (Junior Concert: 15:00; Main Concert: 21:20). As the country’s largest classical music event, world-class musicians perform live on a floating stage right on the canal, making it a truly memorable cultural experience to mark the end of summer. Mundana Music and Movement for Little Ones

Taking place this Saturday 22 August, this cosy, interactive musical discovery session introduces babies and toddlers (ages 1–2) to gentle live instruments, soothing rhythms, and engaging songs. This indoor rain-proof event is a wonderful sensory bonding experience for parents and little ones to explore music together in a warm, relaxed setting. Fat Tyre Race

Bring your balance bike, scooter, city bike or mountain bike (no racing bikes!) to join the fat tyre race this Saturday 22 August at Buurtboerderij Centraal. Jazz Fest with Bonus Kids’ Programme

Head over to Noorderlicht on the NDSM-Werf this Saturday 22 August, for the third edition of A Funky Wicked Jazz Fest! From 13:00 to 23:00, this mini festival brings an infectious mix of funk, soul, live jazz, and dance workshops right to the waterfront. What makes this year extra special for families is the brand-new kids’ programme running until 17:30, featuring live djembé jams, entertainment from Sesamstraat legend Hakim, craft tables, and plenty of space to dance in the sun. Pluk de Nacht Open Air Festival

Running from late August at Het Stenen Hoofd (Westerdoksdijk 1), Pluk de Nacht is the Netherlands’ premier open-air film festival, bringing independent feature films, animations, and art installations under the stars right along the IJ waterfront. While adults can enjoy evening screenings, drinks, and silent disco parties, on Sunday 23 August, families can drop by for Pluk MINI, a special free family afternoon featuring kids’ film screenings, pop-up games, and art activities in a vibrant, relaxed seaside atmosphere. The festival site opens in the afternoon, entry to the grounds is free, and reserved deckchairs for screenings start at €11 per person, making it an ideal late-summer outdoor treat for parents and children alike! Hockey World Cup

The Netherlands is co-hosting the FIH Hockey World Cup this year at the Wagener Stadium in Amstelveen, right on the edge of the Amsterdamse Bos. Concertgebouw Open

A new season is about to begin, presenting a new lineup of performances at the Concertgebouw. But before that, on 5 September the famed concert hall will open its doors to the public for a whole day of mini concerts happening in multiple rooms in the building all at once. From classical music to jazz, contemporary, and even music for children, this day, which only happens once a year, will delight the whole family. Openmonumentendag

The 40th edition of the VriendenLoterij Open Monument Day is happening on 12 and 13 September. During Open Monument Day, thousands of monuments in the Netherlands are open to the general public, and countless different activities are organised: exhibitions, guided tours, cycling routes, walks, and activities for little ones. This is the perfect opportunity to explore and get to know more of the Netherlands through its monuments all around the country. Some monuments or buildings will only be open during this weekend. Perimenopause & Women’s Health

Yes, it’s real. Women have to go through menopause at some point in their lives, but now we are learning that changes in our bodies can actually happen sooner, and that’s called perimenopause. There are a lot of questions that are difficult to answer from simple internet searches; luckily there’s an expert talk and panel with a GP happening on 3 September at Zoku Amsterdam.
