Navigating city life with one or two is kids is one thing, but what about with seven kids?
In this episode, we talk with Marielle Beckers, an educational psychologist and one of our own Amsterdam Mamas, about what it’s like to raise seven children in central Amsterdam. We find out how Marielle met her partner and how they came to be the parents of seven kids. She also tells us a little about their day-to-day life and how they travel and live in the city.
We also hear from our director, Emmy McCarthy, about her difficult decision to end the Village Card and what means to Amsterdam Mamas.
Donna Bardsley is the travel-loving mother of three homebodies who hate to leave the house. After living in Amsterdam for six years, she has recently moved her family back to the US where she is experiencing all the joys of reverse culture shock.
