How to accept to let your kids take risks in nature ? Together, we will be discussing our limitations when it comes to letting our children take risks, asking ourselves what are the real dangers in nature. We will design solutions to encourage them to dare and try to discover their body abilities and limitations, at their own rhythm. By making our children aware of what they can do, about what they are scared of, about what the real risks are, we also prepare them for adolescence. A time where searching boundaries and knowing ourselves is everything. The attitude of the parent / educator toward uncertainty, danger and accident risks is fundamental. There is a path to be found between forbidding and allowing everything. Taking risks cannot be done without previous assessment. Nature can be a wild place. So what is the adequate balance between security and risk taking ? Let's define it together ! This workshop is open to parents and education professionals. This workshop is donation based, all donations will be used to support our social mission of connecting children with their (own) nature.
